When children leave the service we always ask them what they thought about the experience. Here are some of the things they have said:
Things I liked most
- “Making new friends”
- “Computers, free time, food, pool”
- “Being taken seriously about my problems and getting a lot of help”
- “They helped me control my anger”
- “Classroom activities and swimming”
- “My Key Nurses, making friends, Art and Pottery Sessions”
- “The fun trips we went on in the minibus”
- “Staff were kind, school trips and lessons like pottery”
- “There were children here with similar problems”
- “It helped me alot”
- “Making new friends, skateboarding ,making videos, DT, and choosing time”
Things I disliked the most
- “Sleeping here and the bedtimes”
- “Not enough activities”
- You don’t have personal space when you are annoyed”
- “Some of the meals”
- “Not being allowed to bring in a phone”
- “Some of the rules”
