In 2021, CNWL launched a new professional development programme, the Chief Nurse Fellowship, to give nursing staff a unique opportunity to develop their leadership careers.
In the first year, we announced three Chief Nurse Fellows, with a particular emphasis on supporting ethnic minority nurses – recognising the under-representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethic (BAME) staff in more senior roles.
We caught up with the Fellows (Clarence, Phanuel and Yvonne) as they come to the end of the year-long programme, and as we begin recruiting for our next cohort.
The closing date for applications to the next Fellowship is Friday 29 April.
Staff at CNWL can find the application pack on Trustnet – just search ‘BAME Chief Nurse Fellowship’ – which will start in June.
