Dr Abhishek Shastri, Consultant Psychiatrist from the Brent Memory Team attended on behalf of the Trust.
Councillors used the training to convey enquiries they received from their constituents relating to dementia e.g. what services and support programmes are available for people living with dementia, for their unpaid carers, how can we access our GP and the Memory Service, how can we slow down the progress of dementia, is there a cure for dementia.
