Alister D’souza, who works as a Business Manager at Brent CAMHS, has been shortlisted at this year’s National B.A.M.E Health & Care Awards, for his focus on creating a compassionate and inclusive work environment.

The awards celebrate the unsung heroes from across health and care who are making significant improvements to services for people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities.

“Alister is such a compassionate member of the team. Since I started at Brent CAMHS a year ago, I have witnessed his generosity and commitment to making staff and visitors feel welcome and treat them with respect and care.”

In his role at Brent CAMHS, Alister oversees the operational aspects of the service, making sure the team has the resources and support to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Congratulations and well done to Alister, who was also highly commended at the Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards in the Outstanding Leadership category.
