CNWL has published its Quality Account to its website.
The report (114 pages), can be downloaded by clicking here.
The Trust Quality Account is our report to the public about delivering better and safer care, and what we have achieved in the last year.
It contains the details of the initiatives, projects, audits and surveys staff have undertaken between April 2022 and March 2023.
We have maintained our quality ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC); “Good” overall, and an “Outstanding” rating for Caring.
The CQC inspected local services (District Nursing and Young People’s Mental Health Inpatient Service), carried out over 20 Mental Health Act Review visits, and, with Her Majesty’s Inspector of Prisons, a number in our Healthcare services in prisons and Young Offender Institutions.
None of these gave rise to any change to our CQC rating. Inspectors highlighted much positive work and improvement, including in our secure settings.
In her opening statement, Chief Executive Claire Murdoch CBE, said:
“Quality is at the core of front-line service provision and we have many ways of delivering and measuring it – like feedback about individual experiences, inspections, audits, staff education, Quality Improvement (QI) projects, and gaining accreditation. I thank our staff who, with patients, carers, and our many partners, work with dedication to improve safety and quality of services.”
