Colleagues working in the CNWL Recruitment Team have been shortlisted across three categories for the London Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) Awards 2023.

The team have been recognised for:

  • Innovation in Recruitment (Carmen Candela, Hilary Oliver and Matt Francis)
  • Sustainable Retention Initiative (CNWL Clinical Education Team)
  • HCSW Data (Naveed Khwaja and CNWL Data Team)

The shortlist was based on the team’s dedication, hard work and exceptional contribution to the NHS.

Over the past year, the team have worked hard to deliver the People First programme to enable more efficient recruiting processes for new starters, managers and interview panels, and develop a new microsite for careers within CNWL.

Hilary Oliver, Head of Resourcing and Recruitment said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this award. We are very proud of what we have achieved and look forward to celebrating our work, and the work of all other organisations nominated.”

The selected winners will be announced during the London HCSW awards ceremony at Kensington Town Hall on Tuesday 17 October 2023 dedicated to honouring the remarkable contributions, dedication and professionalism exhibited by HCSWs, teams and trusts in London as they play a pivotal role in the delivery of exceptional patient care.
