CNWL's Sexual Health Service in Surrey and two of its staff members have been nominated in the first ever Pride in Surrey Awards. 

Dr Shalini Andrews, Clinical Director and Consultant in Genitourinary and HIV, is nominated under the category LGBTQ+ Ally of the Year alongside Ian Cole, Sexual Health Outreach Team Manager in Surrey, who is nominated under the category Community Champion. 

The entire service is nominated under Health Service of the Year in the County.  

The Pride in Surrey Awards will bring together community leaders, advocates, allies, and organisations to commemorate the progress made in embracing and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. From outstanding contributions to inspirational stories, this event aims to recognise and honour those who have made a remarkable impact within Surrey's LGBTQ+ community.

The winners will be announced at Surrey LGBTQ+ Expo in Guildford on Thursday 15 February 2024
