Welcoming this new dashboard – a way of looking at data around mental health in many locations - from the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), Ross Graves, CNWL’s Chief Strategy Officer, said:
“Being ‘data driven’ – taking action on what local data tells us - is at the heart of the Trust’s Strategy. This dashboard gives us another really helpful element to our toolkit, and will help embed prevention-focused approaches to mental health in our services along with those of our local partners.”
The Public Mental Health Dashboard has been developed by OHID for use by local authority Public Health teams to prepare mental health needs assessments. It complements the mental health and wellbeing Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) toolkit.
OHID say, “The tool brings together existing evidence and data in charts which you can copy for easy inclusion in a presentation or word document. The tool allows you to set different geographies and make bespoke selections if required, with data at local authority or CCG level depending on availability.
We would welcome your feedback via our online feedback form to further develop and improve the tool to better meet your needs.
