Head of the service, Patrick Gillespie was a keynote speaker at the event.

Among other things, he discussed the team’s strategic priority to “continue to focus our resources on improving patient safety, delivering high-quality services and maximise opportunities for the utilisation of digital technology.”

He was delighted to be invited to speak and have the opportunity to showcase some of the strides CNWL has made in the field.

“It is wonderful to be part of this conference and present digital innovation within CNWL’s Health and Justice Service as a key speaker,” he said.

The team was also able to demonstrate the power and potential of virtual reality (VR) as a way of treating patients and training staff.
