Today, we’re launching the first of our series of videos about the progress we’re making on our Trust Strategy. We’re two years into the four-year plan.
We’d like staff to think about how they can incorporate the Trust Strategy into their daily work and help deliver our vision of “Wellbeing for Life”.
We’re delivering this ambition through our “5,4,3,2,1” model which includes five principles.
Each video will be shared weekly, focusing on a principle and how teams are contributing towards delivering it.
The first principle is Focus on excellent care - where we place our energy and how we ensure this is guided by how we best deliver excellent care.
Dr Con Kelly our Chief Medical Officer says “The focus on excellent care should be the main role of everybody in the Trust because we are here to deliver the best care we can to the patients that we serve”.
In the video below, Pauline Ujeyah, Clinical Lead for our Brent Memory Service shares how the service improved the care they were delivering by introducing an assessment tool that was more culturally appropriate for the patients they were seeing from diverse backgrounds.
Watch the video to find out how they achieved this.
