Project wingman.jpgStaff from Hillingdon’s Mental Health Team in the Woodlands and Riverside Centres have said farewell to their Project Wingman colleagues from British Airways.

Project Wingman was an initiative backed by members of the airline industry offering support to staff during the Covid-19 outbreak.

They have been a constant feature since the early days of the pandemic, providing refreshments, lots of cake and a welcoming and calming space for our staff teams.

But with relaxations on travel, they have been returning to the skies.

Team manager in Older Adult services, Jennifer Grogan, presented them with a home-made card as well as a copy of the letter sent to them by Robyn Doran, CNWL’s Chief Operating Officer.

Head of Hillingdon’s Mental Health Services Alastair Penman, presented them with an orchid as a gift to say thanks and for them to have a reminder of the great work they have completed.

Alastair said: “We will be sad to see them go and wish them well back in the skies. Thanks again for this amazing collaboration and partnership.”
