Dr Mehtab Rahman, in his capacity of Physical Health in Mental Health Services, organised the CNWL Physical Health Update for Doctors in Training event.
Over 85 psychiatrists, GPs and trainees from across the Trust participated in the event. The session discussed physical health in relation to secondary mental health services. It also covered the Trust's standards and provided training on various physical health topics.
To keep the momentum going around the importance of raising awareness of physical health for mental health patients, this event is likely to become a regular fixture in the future.
