A little while ago, we shared the work undertaken by Yogita Dawda and Anshu Rayan in pharmacy to create QR videos for high risk medicines used in mental health and Covid vaccines, in partnership with QR Video Solutions.  The aim of these videos is help educate patient, carers and health care professionals about these medicines.

Last week Yogita shared the video on ‘Valproate in women of childbearing age’ with the pharmacy regulatory body, the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). We are delighted to announce that GPhC have sent this email to every registrant reminding them of what they need to do to dispense valproate safely and signposts them to Watch this video created by CNWL, in which a pharmacist talks to a patient about the risks of valproate. They have also uploaded this video onto their website.
