Join us at the first in-person Health and Justice Learning Hub (HJLH) conference on Wednesday, 26 February from 9:30am - 4:30pm at St James the Less Church, Pimlico.
The HJLH, commissioned by the London region Health and Justice Team at NHS England, is a three-year pilot programme. It aims to bring together healthcare providers and key stakeholders in the Criminal Justice System to improve learning and safety.
HJLH are really excited to bring together staff from across London prisons representing healthcare, prison operations and safety teams.
This event is a chance to meet colleagues, discuss current issues in healthcare and prison safety, and share solutions and good practices. It will be an interactive day to learn from others, share ideas, and think about wider solutions.
Speakers with relevant insights will kick off discussions on realistic improvements that can be applied in our challenging work environment.
Topics include:
- Legal perspectives on working with coroners
- Tackling communication challenges
- The current situation in London prisons
- Good practices in multi-agency work
- Staffing changes to enhance safety
We welcome representation from all disciplines and grades to ensure a rich conversation and maximise the impact of this learning.
