Meet Bleona, she is the Team Administrator at Vincent Square Eating Disorders service.
She studied psychology as an undergraduate at university and found it to be one of her favourite modules.
“I like my job a lot. It’s a great job to work not only with patients but with colleagues and other services as well. You can see how connected we are, and how much we do for each other. It’s the little things that you don’t really realise that are affecting people’s lives”.
In her role, Bleona is responsible for tasks such as organising the team files, scheduling of meetings and patient appointments, maintenance and organisation of service and patient records, managing correspondence and communications such as phone calls, post and emails.
With the service, Bleona has been encouraged to develop her career into a leadership role.
“I do the 21st Century Leadership Programme that the Trust offers, I feel like it’s so inspiring and gives me skills to develop and learn. I think for me, the next step would be something related to a leadership position”.
