The Integrated Mental Health Service run jointly by CNWL and the London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH) will be run separately from this week (13 April 2020).

This change is planned and not due to the coronavirus outbreak, patients may have their appointments on the phone or by video during the coronavirus outbreak.

This means that who patients see will depend on their needs

  • the CNWL health team or
  • the LBH social care team or
  • Both CNWL and LBH services if you have health and social care needs

This support will be provided directly through each organisation and no longer through an integrated team. Both organisations are committed to working together to provide you with the care and support you require.

If you are under CNWL community mental health services our team will continue to look after your care and any decisions regarding your care and treatment will be discussed with you in person.

If your needs are social care needs, the London Borough of Hillingdon will be responsible for your social care from 10 April 2020.

Some people may see a different care coordinator. We will tell you if you will see someone different to the person you currently see.

The level of support that you receive will be the same.

Patients will continue to see the CNWL Mental Health Team at Mead House and the Pembroke Centre for the next few months

In the late summer the CNWL teams will move to Mill House in Uxbridge and also run services at various community sites across the borough. We will let you know when we will be moving and when you need to attend our new locations for your appointments.

The Council’s social care services will move to the Civic Centre from 10 April 2020 and will be managed by Adult Social Care.

We recognise that change can be disruptive, especially for people who have had a long relationship with the Integrated Mental Health Service.

If you have any concerns or worries please let us know so we can keep you informed. Ask a member of our staff or email us on: cnwl.mead-pembrokemove@nhs.net.
