Ian Cole, Sexual Health Outreach Team Manager in Surrey, received a Pride in Surrey Award yesterday at an LGBT+ Expo event and ceremony in Guildford.
It's the first Pride in Surrey Awards to take place recognising and honouring those who have made a remarkable impact within Surrey's LGBTQ+ community.
Ian was nominated under the category LGBTQ+ Community Champion of the Year.
Alongside Ian, CNWL Sexual Health Service in Surrey was nominated under the category Health Service of the Year in the County and Dr Shalini Andrews, Clinical Director and Consultant in Genitourinary and HIV, was nominated under the category LGBTQ+ Ally of the Year.

The Pride in Surrey Awards bring together community leaders, advocates, allies, and organisations to commemorate the progress made in embracing and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. From outstanding contributions to inspirational stories, this event aims to recognise and honour those who have made a remarkable impact within Surrey's LGBTQ+ community.
CNWL's Sexual Health Service in Surrey offers testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, contraception, HIV prevention and treatment and online services to offer testing from the comfort of your own home and the ability to request contraception online.
