CNWL's Kensington and Chelsea Home Treatment Team have achieved full Quality Network for Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

QNCC commended the team in their experience, knowledge and being resourceful. They were impressed by their award winning QI Bitesize Project that has been beneficial learning for all staff. They said the team is very cohesive and happy in their roles and morale is high. This is reflected in the great compassion care that our patient and their carers receive.

QNCC completed a detailed and multi-staged review, looking for evidence of best practice and examples of delivering to the highest standard of care. An important part of the review included feedback from our patients and carers who said :

“Every member of the home treatment team I had contact with was kind, empathetic and professional. Despite being a busy team they made the effort to be flexible and always available. I felt safe and comfortable in their care and felt I could trust them with very personal information”

Nicola Jhumat, Assistant Director for Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster Urgent Care said:

"The team have been working hard towards this accreditation and have really  enjoyed taking part in the process. I am really pleased the team have been recognised for the work especially because they have really made efforts in delivering more therapeutic offer".
