We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Fellowship.
The programme is a development opportunity designed to nurture and develop future leaders within CNWL. This fellowship is primarily aimed at Band 7 staff from a global majority background, providing them with hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to take on strategic responsibilities.
The COO Fellowship is a year-long program that requires a commitment of two days per week. It focuses on delivering projects that support the fellows' service or team, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care, staff experience, and operational excellence.
Participants will also benefit from the 21st Century Leadership Programme (21CLP), which enhances leadership skills, professional growth, and personal development in a supportive environment.
Key highlights of the COO Fellowship:
- Leadership Skills Development: Fellows will participate in sessions that equip them with key concepts and tools to draw on throughout the fellowship and their ongoing leadership journey
- Strategic Projects: The program prioritises projects that have a direct impact on patient care and staff experience, ensuring that fellows can make a tangible difference in their roles
- Mentorship and Support: Fellows will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced leaders within CNWL, helping them navigate their leadership journey and achieve their career goals.
Supported by Graeme Caul, CNWL Chief Operating Officer he said: "Really excited to be personally sponsoring this programme to increase diversity in our leadership community."
We invite all interested Band 7 staff to join our next Q&A session to learn more about the fellowship.
Applications are open for CNWL staff only, closing 25 February 2025.
