The Programme, which is run in conjunction with Imperial College Business School, focuses on key challenges facing CNWL. It runs from September to June and is for senior clinicians (consultant/clinical staff Band 8B and above). The Programme covers the CNWL Landscape; Finance; Workforce and Productivity; Quality, and Leadership with a focus on building Personal and Team Leadership skills. The taught part of the Programme ends with a session led by Chief Executive Claire Murdoch. All participants are expected to devise and complete a Quality Improvement project with their teams and with support form the central Qi team

Commenting on the Programme Con Kelly said:

“Each year the commitment and engagement of participants increases as does the quality of the Qi projects we see presented by staff who all work in incredibly busy NHS settings. What is also great to see among the participants is the personal development, peer group support and the enjoyment of working as a team to deliver improvement. Qi is often said to bring “joy at work” – Dot and I certainly enjoyed our time with this year’s cohort for which we are very grateful."

The next cohort will start in September. Applications open shortly. If you think that you might want to apply please contact Julienne Phillips (julienne.philllips1@nhs.net)
