CNWL has now developed translated versions and an Easy Read version of a document we published with North West London Clinical Commissioning Group (NWL CCG) for people recovering from Covid-19.
Post Covid-19 Recovery; Information to support your physical and mental health contains information on how to help people manage ongoing physical symptoms and where to find support to manage feelings of anxiety, low mood or unpleasant memories since having Covid-19.
You can read and download the Easy Read version and the translated versions, which are in Bengali, Hindi, Swahili, Somali, Portuguese, Polish, Tamil, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Farsi and Gujurati.
The 30-page document covers areas such as:
- How you might feel after having Covid-19
- Advice for patients who were in intensive care (ICU)
- How people can help themselves
- Recovering emotionally
- Resources
- Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychological therapy, Talking Therapies Speech and Language Therapy
- Relaxation management
- Dietetics
- Returning to work
It was developed by the CNWL Hillingdon Community Adult Rehabilitation Service with the CNWL Hillingdon MSK Physiotherapy Service and in collaboration with CNWL Talking Therapies Service, Hillingdon.
