North Central London Integrated Care Board provides the best diabetes care in England when it comes to meeting the three treatment (3T) targets for blood pressure, cholesterol and Hba1c (average glucose levels).
CNWL Nurse Consultant in Camden, Shantell Naidu, has been instrumental the region’s success.
She is a valued and trusted voice across North Central London, providing advice about community and Type 2 diabetes management.
On the accomplishment, Shantell said: “Well done to everyone working in diabetes care in North Central London and to people with diabetes for achieving the highest outcome measures of National Diabetes Audit 3T targets in the country.
“This is a great achievement, especially after Covid recovery.
“There is still plenty of work to do in ensuring all nine care processes are checked and recorded, but this is great progress.”
Well done to our colleagues in North West London who finished second.
