North West London Integrated Care System have published their May 2023 community insight reports, which provides a summary of what residents and communities are telling them in each of the eight boroughs across North West London.
Feedback from communities covers a wide range of issues, including:
- Some confusion about how to navigate NHS services, including lack of clarity about the role of pharmacists
- Insights on the experiences of children with asthma, including questions about inhaler technique and when to use the inhaler
- Continued concerns around primary care access
- Some concerns around the effectiveness of digital access to primary care
- Positive feedback from residents in Ealing, Hounslow and Brent about the Ealing Health and Care Fair
- Concerns about translations and interpretation, including suggestion that short appointment times can be difficult for patients whose first language is not English
- Concerns about the impact of isolation and housing issues on mental health
- Requests for more and quicker information about vaccinations and immunisations
- Feedback from the Cancer Listening Programme
- Carers’ experiences of the impact of Dementia.
