Oak Tree Ward receives accreditation status

Oak Tree Ward, an older people inpatient mental health unit, part of CNWL NHS Foundation Trust, has received accreditation by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

It is the second of four older adults wards at the Trust to be accredited, from the College’s Quality Network for Older Adults Mental Health Services (QNOAMHS).

The first was Ellington ward based at Northwick Park Hospital. 

The network works with wards providing services to older people to assure and improve the quality of inpatient mental health services.

The accreditation visit took place on 2 October 2018.

Oak Tree Ward is located at the Woodlands Centre in Hillingdon Hospital and provides care to older adults with a range of mental health conditions, different needs and abilities.
