Today (Friday 23 October) One Community Radio presented its show dedicated to the theme of Halloween and Black History Month.

Cate Latto, One Community Radio show presenter opened the show with a discussion on Autumn, stories of magic and superstition, Halloween and ppells and folklore and how they influence us and our lives and some  pumpkins and quinces.

  • Katherine Nagib, Hugh Burbeck, Nicola Jane with a mixture of show and tell and poems 
  • Evvy read another chaper of Life of Pi 

 

  • Laura Cavill read her poem entitled 'Bruises'

Members from our Black and Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) Network group shared what celebrations and events the Trust has held for Black History Month, and ran a short quiz!

The next show will be themed around Simple Pleasures: what small things bring joy and how seemingly inconsequential things can drastically improve our days.
