We ask patients, carers and families to give us feedback on their experiences of our services regularly through the friends and family test survey.
Here are some of the recent comments we’ve received from patients in Westminster who are cared for in our Community Mental Health Hubs
The hubs bring together a range of healthcare professionals who have specialist skills in working with people who have mental health needs.
Across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster the hubs accept around 700 referrals each month and admit around 13 people a month to new step-down beds (people not needing acute care but not quite ready to go home.)
The survey asks ‘does the service you receive help you to achieve the things that matter to you’?
Service User J: gave a “very good” score
“Yes definitely. At university, when I was doing my thesis, I became really, really down, in a very deep depression. Without the staff at Woodfield Road, I would not be in this place now.”
Overall, how was your experience of our services?
“Very good. I felt I was protected by the team at Woodfield Road and these people do really care and they really do want the best to be done for the patient. They explored different angles in my case, and they brought on board different specialists to help me.
“I was referred to the Listening Place whilst waiting for other treatment. It meant I had someone to speak to whilst on my amazing journey.
“The team at Woodfield Road restored my faith in humanity. After 6 months, I owe them my life - I love them all so much and if I won the lottery, it would all go to them.
Service User T : gave a “very good” score
