Erikas Glavdelis, a band 6 nurse with the Addictions Recovery Community Hillingdon (ARCH) was named the service’s Employee of the Month for July.
Erikas joined the addiction service almost a year ago as a band 5 nurse, and soon built a name for himself as a reliable, hardworking member of the team. Within the year, he successfully applied for his current band 6 post.
“We had so many lovely comments in the votes for him,” said Sue Murphy, Sector Manager at ARCH.
Each month, members of the service cast their votes on who should be given the title, and this is reviewed by the board.
One of Erikas’ colleagues said: “Erkas is a shining example to the team and colleagues; supportive, helpful, truly dedicated and hard working. Erikas has excellent feedback from service users, particularly complex clients who have had successful completions. Excellent inter-agency working and liaising with other professionals.”
Another said, “Always smiling, full of energy, compassionate and caring - his enthusiasm is there for all to see.”
“Well deserved,” said another casted vote.
Congratulations to Erikas.
