Tomorrow [3 February 2022] is Time to Talk Day. Run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness; Time to Talk Day encourages us to have conversations about mental health.

This is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. It is all about creating supportive communities by having conversations with family, friends, or colleagues about mental health. By talking about it we can support ourselves and others.

CNWL’s Lived Experience of Mental Health Issues, Stigma, Transformation (LEMHIST) Staff Network is encouraging colleagues to take part in the day by putting on the kettle, taking a break and starting a conversation with colleagues about mental health over a cuppa.

It will also have a zoom social for network members during the afternoon.

Around one in five people from anxiety or depression every year.

By talking about mental health openly will help to reduce stigma and to create supportive communities where people can talk openly about mental health and feel empowered to seek help when needed.

You can also talk with our Talking Therapies services. Click here for our London services or here for our Milton Keynes service.

Time to Talk Day was launched in 2014 by Time to Change, a campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination, which was run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.
