Two AHP Support Workers at CNWL have been nominated in the national AHP Support Workforce Awards. Congratulations to Philippa Watson (Pip), and Lorraine Mangan!

Philippa Watson, Pip, is one of our Lead AHP Support Workers, and has been nominated for the Positive, Passion and Inclusion Award. Pip also works clinically as a Rehabilitation Practitioner in Milton Keynes Adult Learning Disabilities team.

Lorraine Mangan is a Rehabilitation Assistant in Camden Integrated Community Healthcare Team at Belsize Priory. Lorraine has also taken up the role of AHP Support Workforce representative in the North Central London AHP Faculty group and has been nominated for the Reaching your Potential Award.

Toria Kilsby, Lead for CNWL’s AHP Support Workforce developments said “Pip and Lorraine have both been involved in the developments for our AHP support workforce across CNWL this year, and have also been involved in regional and national events with Health Education England. We are really proud of what they have achieved and delighted to see them recognised at this national event”

Dr Ryan Kemp, Director of Therapies said “We have done some remarkable work in CNWL in bringing the AHP workforce together and creating structures for career development. These nominations are just the icing on the cake and I am really proud of both nominees”.

The winners will be announced on Monday 12 December.
