Can you help CNWL? At a time of unprecedented need, CNWL, which covers London, Milton Keynes and areas beyond) is looking for people from across the community to help us in continuing to provide services to those in most need.
We are recruiting to the following roles where you will be asked to provide support anywhere across the Trust:
- Community Reserve Volunteer – volunteers will be asked to help in the local community. Duties in this role could include running errands, checking up on a service user or volunteer driving.
- Emergency Response Volunteer – volunteers will support within our inpatient units. Duties in this role could include supporting activities or helping during meal times.
- Emergency Support volunteer – volunteers will support in non-patient facing roles. Duties in this role could include answering the phone, photocopying documents or organising paperwork.
CNWL Chief Executive Claire Murdoch said: “Front line staff are being redeployed to make sure essential services continue to be delivered to the most vulnerable.
“But with your assistance they can do even more – that’s why we are looking for help from all of you in the community in this unprecedented time.
“We know there are many, many people who want to help others and the NHS itself. While we are working with community organisations who are already co-ordinating volunteers to support us with this I suspect we will need more help over the coming weeks so every little bit of help you can provide, even chatting to a patient over a cup of tea, will be gratefully received.
“If you can’t help, maybe you have family or friends who might be able to support us on an unpaid voluntary basis. If so, we would love to hear from them.
