To mark Volunteers Week, CNWL held a celebration for its volunteers at its HQ in central London on 6 June.
Nuria de Miguel, Volunteer Services Manager, expressed her immense gratitude to those people who give their time to keep our services going, and Graeme Caul, Chief Operating Officer, spoke about his time as a volunteer, before reinforcing the fact CNWL relies on the hard work of volunteers to help its patients.
In a thank you card that was sent out to all our volunteers, Nuria and Chief Executive, Claire Murdoch said: “Words fall short in conveying the immense gratitude we feel for your unwavering dedication, unyielding determination, and altruistic spirit.
“It is an absolute honour to have such a brilliant constellation of stars like you lighting up our service with your unique skills, energy, and warmth.
“Your hard work has illuminated countless lives, creating a ripple effect of positive change that instils hope, elation, and inspiration in those who need it most. We’re truly humbled by your generosity.”
