Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) for the children’s workforce

This programme has been designed for anyone who works with, or encounters, children and young people aged 0 to 25 with Special Educational Needs and Disability. 

This is a core training session which supports all staff working with children and young people (CYP) with SEND to understand the legislation and duties bestowed on us as health professionals, how our work supports the CYP in education and our duties to contribute towards an Education, Health and Care Plans (EHC plans) under the Children and Families Act 2014.

The E-Learning consists of three engaging and interactive modules for you to explore and to develop your knowledge and understanding of SEND.
