Asthma Care for Children and Young People

The National Bundle of Asthma Care for Children and Young People launched in September 2021. The ambition is to reduce avoidable harm to children and young people with asthma and improve their quality of life.

A key element is to ensure relevant training is accessible for all professionals.The capability framework has now been launched, with five tiers of training according to level of care provided.

This framework has been developed to allow individuals, employers, and integrated care systems to be aware of the skills and knowledge that are required to ensure they can safely care for a child and young person with asthma.

The modules are available online and freely accessible.
