CNWL held its fifth annual Domestic Abuse conference on 8 December during the White Ribbon period (against violence against women and girls). We had the largest attendance yet peaking at over 600 in the audience. The event was chaired by the CNWL Domestic Abuse Lead, Susan Bray and supported by CNWL Domestic Abuse Prevention Co-ordinator Holly Thomas.

There is increasing evidence that COVID 19 is affecting people’s willingness and ability to seek and access medical care during this time. There is also growing evidence that individuals (including young people) already vulnerable to abuse and exploitation may be even more at risk during this period of reduced support and isolation.
