A new service is being piloted in Brent, Harrow, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea that is jointly funded by CNWL and Primary Care Networks (PCNs). Working with the Local Authorities in our boroughs, these schemes have supported thousands of children across a wide range of communities including children in care, young carers, refugee and asylum seekers, LGBT+, and communities identified as having lower rates of access to children’s mental health services such as black, asian and minority ethnic communities.

Hillingdon Youth Justice Service (YJS) have been awarded the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Lead Quality Mark with Child First Commendation by Microlink PC. CNWL are proud to be part of this partnership.

From this date the service will consider referrals for young people who have ‘mild’ eating disorders, not only those young people who may have a ‘moderate’ or ‘severe’ eating disorder. We hope this will mean that young people who are in the early stages of an eating disorder will be able to be assessed much quicker, and if appropriate, provided with evidence-based treatment even quicker too
