Arch Hillingdon is a free and confidential service for young people and adults who live or are registered with a GP in Hillingdon.

Many people turn to drink or drugs as a way of dealing with negative feelings, such as depression, stress, trauma or anxiety.

We work with people at any stage of their alcohol or drug difficulties to provide a single point of access to assessment and treatment, for problems.

We recognise the importance of providing treatment for both the substance misuse problem, as well as any associated emotional / mental health issues.

In this film, we meet the Hillingdon Arch team – a mental health team that is an integrated partnership model addiction treatment service. This film features Dr Jeffrey Fehler - Consultant Psychiatrist, Dr Deepti Shah-Armon – Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Grant – a former service user.

The team engages with service users in various settings, including on the streets, at home, and in community centres, connecting them with local housing providers to secure safe and stable accommodation.

The team assist service users in accessing recovery services such as health screenings, one-on-one key working, groups, and referrals for detox and rehab. In addition, the team offers comprehensive relapse prevention support through home visits, 12 week structured in house Recovery Day Programme (RDP), and assistance with relocating to new areas if needed.

Watch this video below to see how we have helped service users throughout their journey.
