The Camden School Nursing Service provides specialist nursing care, advice and support to school-age children, young people and their families.
The service supports children and young people aged 4 to 18 attending mainstream and special schools in Camden.
The service is delivered in schools so an appointment is not necessary.
Generally, children are transferred to the School Nursing Service from the Health Visiting Service once they reach five years old, or schools highlight healthcare needs to their named school nurse so a referral is not necessary.

If you need help in a crisis, please do the following
- Contact the CNWL service looking after you during their office hours
- If the crisis is during when your service is closed, there are alternative options provided by the NHS found on this page.
- If you are not already being looked after by CNWL or elsewhere within the NHS, see your GP during normal working hours as they can then refer you to a local service.
