Harrow Talking Therapies is a free, confidential NHS service which provides psychological treatment for depression and anxiety disorders.
Talking Therapies and counselling services are suitable for people with problems which have arisen fairly recently. Feelings of low mood, anxiety, particular fears or problems coping with daily life and relationships, are all suitable for brief focussed talking therapies.
People seeking help with difficulties other than depression or anxiety, or whose difficulties require more specialist or intensive treatment which cannot be provided in a primary care setting, can be directed to the appropriate specialist or secondary care mental health services.
The service is able to support people who:
- Are over the age of 18.
- Are registered with a GP in Harrow.
We accepts referrals from registered GPs in Harrow, other healthcare professionals and self-referrals.
To make a referral, please phone 020 8515 5015/5016 or email harrow.iapt@nhs.net
You can make a self-referral online by visiting our CNWL Talking Therapies Service website.
This service is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, excluding public holidays.
