Milton Keynes city was established in 1982 with new developments sitting alongside many of the original villages before the town was established. It has developed in to a large and thriving city in North Buckinghamshire. It lies midway between Northampton and Aylesbury and is very close by to the M1.
The town lies in attractive countryside and there are extensive shopping, leisure and sports facilities. A wide variety of housing is available, both within Milton Keynes itself and also in the surrounding villages. The standard of education is high, with many ‘outstanding’ rated schools offering excellent amenities.
CNWL acquired services previously operated by Milton Keynes Community Health Services (MKCHS) on 1 April 2013 and are responsible for providing NHS community and mental health services across Milton Keynes and specialist dental services across Buckinghamshire.
We have a long history of close working with Milton Keynes Council and have been working closely with Milton Keynes Hospital to create joint services. Intermediate care, community equipment and learning disability services are integrated across health and social care and are provided through pooled budgets and integrated teams. Our Integrated Care System works across Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes.

Milton Keynes is a multi-cultural, young and vibrant city sitting close to the countryside and surrounding villages.
It is home to over 290,000 people and is growing at a faster rate than the average for England, with many people choosing to live in Milton Keynes for a better cost of living.
Did you know there are over 200 miles of shared paths and Redways for cycling and walking?
It's famous for the Centre MK, unique for its size and natural light offering wide range of shopping facilities and the Milton Keynes Dons Football Club.
It has good fast train access to London (30 minutes) and Birmingham (54 minutes).
The city is home to theatre, concerts and festivals, parks and canals there is something for all of the family!
